Police have confirmed that one person has died following the serious crash at the corner of Mountain Road and Bird Road, Cardiff, Stratford, earlier tonight.
Another person has been taken to hospital in a serious condition.
The road remains closed with diversions in place.
The Serious Crash Unit is examining the scene.
