Emergency services were called to single vehicle accident near the intersection of South Road and Ingahape Road at around 11.10am on Sunday.
Initial reports from Police were that a vehicle rolled, however it was overtaking another car and lost control. It did not collide with the other car or roll according to a police spokeswoman.
One person was treated for injuries.
Fire emergency and, ambulance and police personnel were all at the scene.
