Emergency services respond to large house fire in Hawera

Fire and Emergency New Zealand are responding to a house fire on Waihi Road in Hawera. The property is located directly next to the Gull Service Station. It's unconfirmed whether anyone was injured, but St John and police were on scene. Diversions are in place and motorists are advised to avoid the area where possible.

Total fire ban across Taranaki
